Your Mental Health
Being physical isolated, missing out on regular (and fun!) activities and being out of routine is challenging to anyone’s mental health.
That’s without mentioning the significant financial and potential health challenges we are all facing.
This is a challenging time for everyone, and while you may feel lonely, you are most certainly not alone.
For the first part, staying physically active can help enormously. Find something you like from our blog post, ask some people what they like, or turn your favourite music on and have a dance.
Many people will need more help than that.
Here is a fact sheet put out by the Australian Psychological Society about anxiety around Coronovirus.
I have been talking to a local psychologist, Cath Falco, who is also a Family Therapist. She is able to do telehealth consultations, and also some in-rooms consultations if you can’t do telehealth. You can get a Medicare subsidy with a GP referral. You can call her on 0403 568 227.
Look after yourself.
