Physiotherapy after having a baby

March 25, 2022 By Abby Aitchison

Physiotherapy after having a baby

The female body does an amazing job growing and birthing a baby. The rate of change in the body is incredible. This is no different after baby is born. Feeding a baby (however you do it) and baby wrangling can be challenging on your body. All the while, the female body is re-setting itself, ready to go again, even if you’re not! You may experience new areas of pain and discomfort, or changes to how your pelvic floor works. There is so much benefit to be gained from coming to see a physio after baby from sorting out sore spots, checking in on your pelvic floor, and to plan a return to activity.

Ailsa, our Women’s Health physio, is right in the thick of babies and toddlers herself and loves to come alongside families to get the best results. We’ve got toys and baby gear in the clinic, so you don’t need to stress about getting babysitting.

Don’t just put up with pain or pelvic floor problems! Come and see Ailsa and sort them out!
