Working from home 101

April 17, 2020 By Abby Aitchison

Working from home 101

Working from home – home work station set up.

Working from home just became the new normal. Among other challenges with working from home, having a good workstation set-up is a big one.

Make sure you are comfortable with your set up. Often, a laptop is what you are having to use, so finding ways to include a remote keyboard and mouse can help. You can raise your laptop screen to eye height with some thick books! Make sure you take breaks often and regularly move even while seated.

Here is a good guide for a workstation set up. If you would like more help, a physio friend of mine, Wade has a company called Corporate Work Health. They can consult remotely on your personal set-up.
