It’s not just the animal and plant kingdoms that gets moving in Spring. We humans get a sense that we need to be active every time Spring rolls around!
Being active and starting new exercise routines is everything we love to support at AA Physiotherapy. Here are three quick tips to make it a success:
1) Phone a Friend: meeting a mate for a walk or some training not only makes it more enjoyable, you’re more likely to stick with the programme. Now the days are getting longer, see if you can meet a friend early in the day, or after work for a catch up and some exercise.
2) Start Slow, Build Slow:no-one wants their good work and motivation dashed by an injury. Most tendon injuries are caused by sudden increases in load, and will put a spoiler on any new workout programme.
